100 – FOUNDATIONS IN COACHING

This course introduces participants to the dynamic skills and techniques professional coaches use to transform lives and build people. Topics include: The uniqueness of coaching, the coaching mindset, core skills and techniques, and the coaching process.

101 – COACHING MENTORSHIP
[13-WEEK COURSE OFFERED BOTH ONLINE AND IN PERSON]

Prerequisite: 100 FOUNDATIONS IN COACHING
This course is designed to build confidence and competence as a coach through practice and immediate feedback. In addition to unpacking and practicing the 8 ICF Core Competencies, students will complete two 30-minute coaching sessions with a fellow student, receiving immediate feedback. Students will learn how to give specific, constructive feedback concerning an aspect of the coaching conversation witnessed. This course is also a great opportunity to get personally mentored by a certified KCI trainer. Class is limited to a maximum of 12 participants.

200 – SPIRIT-EMPOWERED COACHING

Prerequisite: 100 FOUNDATIONS IN COACHING
This course delves into the subject of what it looks like to partner with Holy Spirit in our coaching. How do we hear from Holy Spirit in the context of a coaching conversation? And, what do we do with what we hear? Students will grapple with those questions while covering topics such as hearing God’s voice, words of knowledge, words of wisdom, prophetic affirmation, and discerning of spirits.
Required text: The Gift of Being Yourself by David G. Benner along with Participant Notes and Handouts

201 EMPOWERING DESTINY DISCOVERY

This course takes coaches and coaches-in-training into the heart of helping others discover their unique mission in life. Students will be introduced to a destiny discovery model and coaching tools for helping others become clearer as to their own life purpose and calling in Christ. Topics include: Destiny discovery model, destiny coaching tools, life purpose and calling in Christ.

202 EMPOWERING SPIRITUAL GROWTH

This course explores the concept that the destiny of every follower of Jesus is to be transformed into His likeness. As Christian life coaches we have a remarkable opportunity to come alongside other apprentices of Jesus and empower them to realize their amazing potential in Him. The first half of this course focuses on deepening the student’s understanding of the coach approach and transformation in Christ. The second half focuses on various tools and concepts coaches can use to help clients engage the process God has them in. Required texts: Faith Coaching, by Chad Hall, Bill Copper, and Kathryn McElveen; Vision, Intention, Means, by David Jacob Smith. Participant Notes and Handouts are provided as part of the class.

203 – COACHING AND THE PROCESS OF CHANGE

This course explores the concept of moving toward our potential in Christ requires change. This course is designed to equip coaches and coaches-in-training with an understanding of what is needed for change to occur and how to facilitate the change process for those they coach.
Topics include: Transactional vs. transformational change, types of motivation, levels of engaging, AMPS model of change.

204 – COACHING THE CALLING JOURNEY

This course is designed to equip Christian Coaches and coaches-in-training with a framework and tools for helping other followers of Christ navigate the journey towards their destiny fulfillment. The Calling Journey model provides key insights along with a set of go-to tools that can assist coaches in helping others engage their life journey in Christ well.
Required text: The Calling Journey, by Tony Stoltzfus; The Critical Journey, by Janet O. Hagberg and Robert A. Guelich. Participant Notes and Handouts.
